Jerry has appeared in numerous films and television programs, among them: Above Suspicion, Kinjite, Hero At Large, Slow Bleed, The Profiler, Knots Landing, Hill St. Blues, Night Court, General Hospital, Simon & Simon, and M*A*S*H. He is familiar to viewers of the original Saved By The Bell as Slater's dad, Col. Slater.

His stage work includes many, many plays in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, and he regularly directs shows at The Santa Paula Theatre Center. Jerry's shows at AAT include On Four, In Black & White, A Mob Scene, Simon Says, and Spare Parts.
