Michael Albala

Michael is a graduate of The NYU Experimental Theatre Wing. He has performed in numerous plays Off-Broadway, including Woyzeck, Angel City, and as Henry Hackamore in Sam Shepard's Seduced at Theatre Regenisis. He studied in Paris with Theatre du Soleil and was a member of the Phffft Dance Company, touring Europe and the former Soviet Union.

In Los Angeles, he received critical acclaim in The Balcony at The World Theatre, Cloud Dancing at Moving Arts, and in Our Own Dear Anton's Abandoned Story Cycle. He is one of the original members of the Actors Art Theatre Ensemble, and has appeared in many, many plays here. (Brothers, Not Keepers, North Of Providence, All Things Dead, In Black & White, On Four, et al) Film work includes Sweet Jane (opposite Samantha Mathis), Contact(opposite Jodie Foster), and a supporting role in the Rutger Hauer thriller Lying In Wait. He also co-starred with Bo Hopkins in The Girl Next Door for The Disney Channel.

Daytime viewers know him as Davis, the Kiriakis family chauffeur on Days Of Our Lives, and as Mort, the 'disorderly orderly' on Port Charles. Other credits include The Gilmore Girls, as Josh, Logan's Brother-In-Law, Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip, Sabrina, The Teen Age Witch, Drake and Josh, Las Vegas, and commercials for Hunter Fans and Hewlett-Packard.

Michael is a longtime New England Patriots fan, and has sworn to name his first-born Tom Brady, regardless of the child's sex. He is married to fellow AAT Member Susan Ziegler.
